Position Summary

Founded in 2016, Terra Drone is a leading drone and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) technology with a mission of “Unlock the sky.” Also, Terra Drone is the first Asian startup to raise funding from Wa’ed Ventures, the venture capital arm of the oil and gas giant and the 2nd biggest company in the world by market cap, Aramco.

Headquarters is in Japan, a global startup preparing for IPO. We have a total of 5 overseas subsidiaries, most were acquired through a merger. Terra Drone Agri was acquired & rebranded by Terra Drone Japan this year and we are looking for an experienced Operational Manager. This position will be working closely with the board of management from Japan, Indonesia and Malaysia. We expect this position to be able to manage Operational field and Manpower smoothly and organized.

Responsibilities
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies, and lead a team to achieve the target.
  • Develop effective strategies and cultivate agencies and new customers.
  • Conducted company presentations and product demonstrations for potential customers.
  • Attend customers’ inquiries and address outstanding issues.
  • Provide sales support to existing customers to further develop account potential.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies for meeting sales targets.
  • Execute daily sales activities, such as follow-up on the quote and sample submission status.
  • Including price negotiation and service recovery, working with the QC Department in the unlikely event there is a quality issue.
  • Participate in monthly sales meetings to share and update management on market information and trends.
  • Assist in preparing and participating in trade shows in the assigned territory.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a diploma (D3) or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or related roles 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized in handling client data and follow-ups.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both spoken and written
  • Familiar with CRM systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic sales reporting tools.
  • Willing to travel around Indonesia if required.
  • Target-oriented and motivated by results.
